Khadijah رضى الله عنها,

I do yearn to be like you,

In words and actions

And character too.

Pure of heart,

You gave us the perfect start,

Truthful in words,

Honest in dealings.

With piety,

You alleviated anxiety,

Giving peace, solace,

And tranquility.

My mother

You are the perfect role model,

A woman of strength,

Chaste and humble,

My support and comfort.
